Training 2006/2007
Amida Trust offers thorough training to volunteers, based on years of experience
in engaged Buddhism. The main training commenced in September at The Buddhist
House in the UK for four weeks followed by up to 5 months in India and probably
2 months in Zambia. Volunteers going out on their own steam will stay as
long as they can. If you are interested in joining the new volunteering
placement please let us know as soon as possible. Volunteers with TEFL qualifications
or experience of volunteering overseas are particularly welcome. Support
is needed for some volunteers who cannot afford expenses incurred in the
Aid work. To help us to provide bursaries for them you can buy Gifts towards
